Strike Three?
Question:
Why is the batter is called out for bunting foul for his third strike?
I never really understood this rule. Please explain. Bartlescriv? Perhaps Ronald knows the answer to this mystery?

Because pitchers would get unlimited opportunites to drop the sacrifice.
see, in some leagues, pitchers are allowed to bat.
